1 Year!

Andyn turned a year old on April 22nd. She is growing up way too fast! She is 16.5 pounds and 28 inches tall. She's been walking 10 weeks and very very busy. She is really starting to talk lately from 'truck' to 'grass' She even is putting 2 or 3 words together like 'I got' (for 'I got you' when playing with Wesley) She shakes her head and says yes or no, claps, waves, and undresses herself very well. She loves to be outside, her dad, music and animals. We are so blessed to have such a happy, healthy little girl!

blanket

Yesterday when Andyn got tired she grabbed her blanket my Gramma Bigelow made her and started dragging it around. So cute. Thanks Gramma for the blanket, we love it.

kitchen helper

Andyn loves to help in the kitchen. She used to sit and play with wooden spoons I would give her, but not anymore. Now she stands up, opens the cupboards and throws everything out. She has so much fun doing it I can't resist letting her 'help'

1st hair cut

Tonight we gave Andyn her first hair cut. Her hair is starting to come in thicker and getting long, I finally decided it was time to trim the 'whispys' and even everything out. She kept trying to look to see what I was doing and grab the scissors. It was the hardest haircut I've ever given!

Walking

Andyn is walking! She had been taking a few steps here and there when she wasn't thinking about it for around 6 weeks now but had never really tried to walk on her own. She would just cruise furniture, walls, people, anything really as long as she could touch something she felt safe. Sunday she started walking across the room, realised what she was doing, got a big smile on her face and hasn't stopped walking since!
